Craft Fairs: Craft Fairs, markets, fetes, and other low cost venues have all proved to be ideal business start-up outlets for our handcrafted products. Trading from craft fairs and similar venues is a good way to gain experience and build stock and capital prior to opening a shop or gallery.

The originality, variety and price-range of our merchandise assures something of interest for everyone – be it a personal treat, birthday, Christmas or wedding gift, or simply something for the home.

Exclusivity: We undertake not to supply any other craft fair packs within a 10 mile radius of anyone purchasing one of our larger craft fair packages.

Business Start-up Packs: Business start-up packs contain a wide range of inexpensive and modestly priced handcrafted products that have proved popular with market traders and their customers. Some of these products can be seen on this website, but there are many hundreds more. All our packs take into account the special requirements of the smaller or part-time business; where practical considerations such as size, weight, mobility, and ease of display are as important as price and customer appeal.

The Cost: Craft Fair packs range from £1,500 to £3,000 plus VAT, but we are able to supply a basic start-up package from just £100. Generally speaking the more you spend on your opening stock the better, and we recommend that you spend a minimum of £250 if at all possible. Our larger packs offer greater product variety and increase customer choice. For a small additional charge we will supply a selection of wrapping materials.

Profit & Earnings: All our stock is priced to sell at a minimum of double the cost but you are free to raise or lower your prices as you wish. The amount you earn will depend on how much stock you have, and the size, type and number of venues you attend. If you purchase one of our larger packs (£750 or more) a typical Craft Fair event will normally generate sales of between £250 and £500 (more at Christmas). Your profit will be at least half of this before expenses…between £125 and £250. Most craft fair traders enjoy selling at a large variety of venues including indoor markets, festivals, agricultural shows, university campuses and school fetes. One of our more experienced craft fair traders has found niche markets that regularly generates sales of £750 per day! There are numerous ways to grow your business and increase earnings. As your business expands you may decide to get a portable credit card machine to facilitate easy payment.

Terms: Payment with order by credit/debit card, PayPal or cheque payable to World Art and Crafts Ltd. All goods are subject to VAT. There is no minimum order, and we offer free delivery on orders over £300 ex. VAT (UK mainland only). Most products are held in stock and orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours.

Craft Fair Product Selection: We recommend that you purchase one of our regular Craft Fair packs but you may, if you wish, assemble your own package from the products on this site.
