Party Plan: Party Plan is normally where product samples and catalogues are displayed in the comfort of one’s own home, or the home of a neighbour, a friend, or a friend of a friend. It's generally a relaxed social occasion that combines business with pleasure, and hosts are rewarded with a small gift or a commission on orders taken during the evening. The party-planner is paid a commission on sales after customer orders have been paid for and dispatched. Our Party-Plan differs from the above in a variety of important ways.

Our Party Plan: With our system you simply buy a Party Plan package and sell directly from stock. Products are available for guests to see and handle, and buy on the spot…and you begin to recoup your investment (with profit) immediately! Our beautifully handcrafted items are inexpensive, original, and fun and you will have no difficulty finding customers or hosts.

The Product Range: Fair-trade handcraft gifts from around the world…a unique and virtually exclusive product range made to order for World Art & Crafts Ltd. The originality, variety and price-range of our merchandise assures something of interest for everyone – be it a personal treat, birthday, Christmas or wedding gift, or simply something for the home.

Business Start-up Packs: Business start-up packs contain a selection of inexpensive items that have proved popular with party planners and their customers. Some of these products are displayed on this website, but there are many hundreds more. All our packs take into account the special requirements of the smaller or part-time home-based business; where practical considerations such as size, weight, mobility, and ease of display are as important as price and customer appeal.

The Cost: Party Plan packs range from just £100 to £1,500 plus VAT (17.5%). A £100 pack of mixed handicrafts will be just sufficient to get your business up and running, but generally speaking the more you spend on your opening stock the better. Our larger packs offer greater product variety and increase customer choice. For a small additional charge we will supply a selection of wrapping materials at cost.

Profit & Earnings: All our stock is priced to sell at a minimum of double the cost but you are free to raise or lower your prices as you wish. The amount you earn will depend on how much stock you have, and the number of hours you want to work. If you purchase one of our larger packs (£1,000 or more) a typical 3 hour Party Plan evening will normally generate sales of between £250 and £450 (more at Christmas). Your profit will be at least half of this…between £125 and £225…equivalent to £40 to £75 per hour! This is more than double that of most Party Plan schemes. You may choose to run several events each week yourself or pay others a commission to host and run them for you. As your business expands you may decide to get a portable credit card machine to facilitate easy payment, or perhaps branch out into craft fairs or other venues such as school fetes. There are numerous ways to grow your business and increase earnings.

Support & Guidance: Unlike most handicraft wholesalers we have years of hands-on retail experience successfully selling our products in our own shops and galleries. We know what sells and how best to present it. World Art & Crafts will make sure that you get the best possible range of top-selling products within your budget, and we will always be available to personally answer your questions and offer practical advice and guidance on any aspect of the business.

Terms: Payment with order by credit/debit card, PayPal or cheque payable to World Art and Crafts Ltd. All goods are subject to VAT. There is no minimum order and we offer free delivery on orders over £300 ex. VAT (UK mainland only). Most products are held in stock and orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours.

Party Plan Pack Product Selection: We recommend that you purchase one of our regular Party Plan packs but you may, if you wish, assemble your own package from the products on this site.
